All we feel is never said
in crippled words we express it instead

and you?

no words you say and you’re always true
no sounds you are and they’re all in you

in silence sound is floating free
in silence reigns the mighty tree
silent ways go the fish in the sea
silent the mountains display their majesty
in silence you whirl all these galaxies

silent you let the stars shine bright
silent walks the hunter at night
and silent comes the morning light

silence there is after every birds song
and after a lions roar loud and strong
silent we grow in our mothers womb
in silence you heal all our wounds
silent we come back in all our tombs

silent you offer your sweetest seduction
in silence you grow after death and destruction
with silence you carry our sins and our filth
our arrogance, hatred our greed and our guilt

silent i seek to find your embrace
in silence i offer my wholehearted praise
silent is your wisdom and presence
silence is your language and essence

and all your creatures run and crawl
they swim and fly and above them all
you’re the space and the field
our guide and our shield
offering your gifts in abundant ways
sharing love and richness since uncounted days
building for us this sacred place
